HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1982-01-25 PETITION 1981-09-01-22 19702 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On January 25, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.o0 P M Present. Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett. Absent: Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 293)4), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No 81-9-1-22 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the Southwest corner of Seven Mile Road and Shadyside in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10, from P L and C-2 to P S (Public Land and General Business to Professional Service) Petition 81-10-1-23 submitted by Boron Oil Company for a change of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Schoolcraft Service Drive and Merriman Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 22, from C-1 to C-2 (Local Business to General Business) Petition 81-9-6-7 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend Section 18 58 of Ordinance #543 so as to incorporate regulation's requiring site plan approval in connection with office buildings located in industrial districts. Petition 81-9-6-8 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend Article II, Definitions, by adding Section 2 11, Flood Plain Terms, and Article XXVIII, Flood Plain District Regulations, by incorporating language pertaining to flood hazard district regulations Petition 81-10-6-9 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend Section 18 47(a), Requirements of Ordinance #543, so as to incorporate regulations to control the location of signs in Special Area Development Control Areas The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.15 P M. , January 25, 1982 '111;(5: t?,?:,:;"C!!!!7161.4
