HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1981-02-02 NECESSITY MILBURN 19107 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MILBURN AVENUE, EIGHT MILE ROAD TO BRETTON, IN WEST 1/2 OF SECTION 2 On February 2, 1981, the above hearing was held, at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and, was called to order by the President of the Council at 7.10 P. M. Present . Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann Absent Peter A Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for road improvement of Milburn Avenue, Eight Mile Road to Bretton, in the west 1/2 of Section 2, T 1 S , R 9 E. , City of Livonia, Michigan There were approximately twenty-five people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by -be Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
