HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-08-25 SAD QUAKERTOWN 18827 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING IN QUAKERTOWN SUBDIVISION NO. 2 IN SECTION 18 On August 25, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 47 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Gerald D. Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann and Peter A. Ventura. Absent. Robert F. Nash. The President stated that pursuant,. to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of a high pressure sodium street lighting system on colonial type ornamental poles with underground wiring in Quakertown Subdivision No. 2 in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 18, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately ten people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
