HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-07-21 NECESSITY GREENLAND 18748 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GREENLAND AVENUE IN THE N W. 1/4 OF SECTION 14 On July 21, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at 9 26 P M Present Robert R Bishop, Robert F Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert E McCann and Peter A Ventura Absent Robert D Bennett The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve- ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement of Greenland Avenue in the N W 1/4 of Section 14, City of Livonia, LMichigan There were approximately twenty-five people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 01 P M , July 21, 1980 /.
