MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS

On July 21, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President
of the Council at 10 02 P M Present Robert R Bishop, Robert F Nash, Gerald
Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert E McCann and Peter A Ventura Absent- Robert D
Bennett.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M S A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning

Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 80-4-1-13, submitted by Parkside Livonia Credit Union for
a change of zoning of property located south of Plymouth Road on the east side of
Raleigh in the N W 1/4 of Section 32, from RUF to P (Rural Urban Farms to Parking)
Petition No 80-4-1-14, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a
change of zoning of property located on the north side of Plymouth Road, west of
Merriman Road in the S E 1/4 of Section 27, from C-2 to C-1, (General Business to
Local Business)
Petition No 8o-4-1-16, submitted by North American Photo, Inc , for a
change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Schoolcraft and Inkster
Roads in the N E 1/4 of Section 25, from P S to M-1, (Professional Services to
Light Manufacturing)
Petition No 80-4-6-6, submitted by the City Planning Commission, to amend
Section 21.09 (e), Determination of Appeal, of Ordinance No 543, to incorporate
language pursuant to a recent amendment to the City/County Zoning Act, and to amend
Section 21 08, Limitations on the Powers of the Zoning Board of Appeals, of Ordinance
