MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROJECT PLAN FOR
THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
(CARROLLTON ARMS PROJECT)
On June 30, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of
the Council at 8 15 P M. Present Robert D Bennett, Gerald Taylor, Alice
Gundersen, Robert E McCann and Peter A Ventura Absent Robert F Nash and
Robert R. Bishop
The President stated that this is a Public Hearing on whether this City
Council should approve the Project Plan recommended by the Economic Development
Corporation of the City of Livonia, consisting of the construction and operation
of a commercial facility to be used by Carrollton Arms The location of the project
L plan area is Lot 34, Schoolcraft Manor Subdivision No 2, in the east half of
Section 30, located approximately 4500 feet south of Schoolcraft Road on the west
side of Newburgh Road and is comprised of a one-story 9600 sq ft building on a
73 acre parcel of land
There were approximately thirty-five people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 18 P M , June 30, 1980
