HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1981-07-20 PETITION 1981-03-01-05 19413 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS Imp' On July 20, 1981, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.11 P. M. Present: Robert D Bennett, Robert F Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen and Peter A. Ventura. Absent. Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the am, Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 293)-J-), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No. 81-3-1-5, submitted by the City Planning Commission, for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Trail, east of Newburgh Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32, from RUF to AG (Rural Urban Farms to General Agricultural). Petition No. 81-3-1-7, submitted by the City Planning Commission, for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Six Mile Road, east of Haggerty Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7, from R-5C to AG (One Family Residential to General Agricultural) Petition No. 81-4-1-11, submitted by Rest-In-The-Son, Inc , for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Gill Road, north of Seven Mile Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, from RUFB to R-3, (Rural Urban Farms to One Family Residential). 19414 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No. 81-4-1-12, submitted by Ross J. and Nellie Borregard, for a change of zoning of property located on the northeast corner of Schoolcraft Service Drive and Brookfield in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22, from RUF to P.S. (Rural Urban Farms to Professional Service). Petition No. 76-6-1-22, submitted by the City Planning Commission, for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Joy Road between Inkster and Cardwell in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, from C-2 to R-1 (General Business to One Family Residential) . Petition No. 80-6-1-23, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 400-80 for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Inkster Road, north of Joy Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, from RUF & C-2 to R-1 (Rural Urban Farms and General Business to One Family Residential). Petition No. 81-3-6-4, submitted by the City Planning Commission, on its own motion, to amend Section 30.03, Permitted Uses, of Zoning Ordinance #543, to incorporate subsection (2), Theaters, in the C-3 Zoning District Regulations.
