HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1981-03-23 NECESSITY CURTIS AVE 19180 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CURTIS AVENUE IN EAST 1/2 OF SECTION 12 On March 23, 1981, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 02 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F Nash, Gerald D. Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann and Peter A Ventura The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve- ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement of Curtis Avenue in the east 1/2 of Section 12, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately eighty people present Lit Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
