HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1981-02-23 PETITION 1980-10-01-31 19132 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On February 23, 1981, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 .36 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Absent Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No. 80-10-1-31 submitted by Roy W Johnson, for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt, south of Morlock, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 1, from RUF to P.S (Rural Urban Farms to Professional Service). Petition 80-11-1-32 submitted by Ross C. Edwards, for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Seven Mile Road and Maplewood in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, from RUF to P S (Rural Urban Farms to Professional Service). Petition No. 80-11-1-33 submitted by Greenfield Construction Company, for a change of zoning of property located north of Six Mile Road, west of Laurel Park Drive, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 7, from P.S to P 0 II, (Professional Service to High Rise Professional Office) Petition No. 80-11-1-34 submitted by Val-Pak, for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road between Seven Mile Road and Clarita, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, from R-3 to P.S (One Family Residential to Professional Service). 19133 Petition No 80-11-1-36 submitted by Kamp-DiComo Associates, for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Wentworth and Middlebelt Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14, from RUF to P S. (Rural Urban Farms to Professional Service). Petition No 80-10-6-11 submitted by the City Planning Commission, to amend Sections 11 03 and 16.11 of Ordinance No 543, by providing regulations controlling automobile rental facilities and truck and trailer rental facilities as waiver uses in C-2 and M-1 (General Business and Light Manufacturing).
