HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-04-21 PETITION 1979-08-01-27 18540 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On April 21, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at 10 15 P M Present Robert R Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert E McCann and Peter A Ventura Absent Robert D Bennett and Robert F Nash Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 79-8-1-27 submitted by Eugene & Arthur Pulice for a change of zoning on property located on the west side of Hubbard Road, north of Five Mile Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 15, from R-1 to P (One Family Residential to Parking) Petition No 80-1-1-1, submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution 1214-79, for a change of zoning of property located south of Seven Mile Road, east of Melvin, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 11, from R-5 to P (One Family Residential to Parking) Petition No 80-1-1-4, submitted by H John Allie, for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Middlebelt Road and Norfolk Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2, from RUFA to C-1, (Rural Urban Farms to Local Business) 18541 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No 80-1-6-3, submitted by the City Planning Commission, to amend Section 30 04, Waiver Uses in C-3 Districts, of Zoning Ordinance 543, by adding paragraph (b) to establish controls for recreation and amusement centers using coin-operated amusement devices Petition No 8o-1-6-4, submitted by the City Planning Commission, to amend Section 18 38, Off-street Parking, Schedule, of Zoning Ordinance 543, by adding paragraph (28) to establish off-street parking requirements for recreation and amusement centers using coin-operated amusement devices The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 51 P M , April 21, 1980 ADDISON W.
