HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-01-28 NECESSITY WATER MAIN 18336 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF WATER MAIN AT PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL ROAD IN NORTH 1/2 of SECTION 27 On January 28, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.08 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, and Robert E. McCann. Absent Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity relative to installing a water main in connection with the paving and drainage of a proposed Industrial Road and the 1-96 South Service Road in the North 1/2 of Section 27, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia. There were approximately 100 people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
