HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-01-28 NECESSITY STORM & FOWLERS 18338 LMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET IMPROVEMENT IN STORM & FOWLERS COUNTRY CREST AND ELMWOOD FARMS SUBDIVISIONS IN N.E. 1/4 OF SECTION 2 On January 28, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 21 P. M. Present. Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, and Robert E. McCann. Absent. Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity relative to proposed street improvement in Storm & Fowlers Country Crest and Elmwood Farms Subdivisions in the N.E. 1/4 of Section 2, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia. There were approximately ninety people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the CityClerk.
