HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-01-28 NECESSITY INDUSTRIAL ROAD 18337 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF PAVING AND DRAINAGE ON PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL ROAD IN NORTH 1/2 OF SECTION 27 On January 28, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 08 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, and Robert E. McCann. Absent : Fater A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity relative to installing paving and drainage on a proposed east-west Industrial Road between Merriman and Hubbard and on Hubbard between the proposed Industrial Road and the I-96 South Service Road in the North 1/2 of Section 27, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia. There were approximately 100 people prescnt. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
