HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1980-03-31 NECESSITY BICENTENNIAL 1,493 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN BICENIENNIAL ESTATES SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 4 On March 31, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 41 P. M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Absent . Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provile for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the installation of ornamental street lighting with underground wiring in Bicentennial Estates Subdivision, in the S. W. 1/4 of Section 4, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., City of Livonia. There were approximately four people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
