MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROJECT PLAN FOR
THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA (AMERICAN
COMMUNITY MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY OFFICE BUILDING PROJECT, ) INCLUDING
ISSUANCE OF LIMITED OBLIGATION REVENUE BOND OF APPROXIMATELY S3,000,000
On March 31, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 9.30 P. M. Present . Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice
Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Absent Peter A. Ventura.
The President stated that this is a Public Hearing on whether this City
Council should approve the Project Flan recommended by the Economic Development
Corporation of the City of Livonia, consisting of construction and operation of a
home office building for American Community to be located at 39201 Seven Mile Road,
Livonia. The project would be leased to American Community Mutual Insurance Company.
There were approximately eight people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 32 P. M. , March 31, 1980.
