MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROJECT PLAN FOR
LTOPEKA INN MANAGEMENT, INC. PROJECT INCLUDING ISSUANCE OF
BONDS BY THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF CITY OF LIVONIA
On March 31, 1980, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 9:25 P. M. Present: Robert D. Bennett, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Alice
Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert E. McCann. Absent Peter A. Ventura.
The President stated that this is a Public Hearing on whether this City
Council should approve the Project Plan recommended by the Economic Development
Corporation of the City of Livonia, consisting of a 226 unit Holiday Inn Motel and
Holidome recreational area and related improvements to be located near the iErsection
of Six Mile Road and 1-96/275. The project would be leased to Topeka Inn Management,
Inc.
LThere were approximately ten people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.30 P. M., March 31, 1980.
