HomeMy WebLinkAboutELEC COMM 1957-09-12 MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ELECrnION COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA September 12, 1957 A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held on Thursday, September 12, 1957, at 10:20 A.M., at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, at which time all of the members of said Commission: William W. Brashear - Mayor Marie W. Clark - City Clerk William N. Ponder - City Attorney were present. Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter, the City Clerk presided over the meeting as Chairman of the Commission. Careful consideration was given to the matter of appointing a board of inspectors of election for each election precinct of the City, pursuant to Act #271 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1955, as amended, to function as such at the special City election to be held September 30, 1957. On motion by Mayor Brashear, seconded by City Attorney Ponder and unanimously carried by the affirmative vote of all three members of the Commission, it was RESOLVED that, the following respective persons are hereby appointed members of the following respective election precincts of the City of Livonia: Pct. #1.
