MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED ONE HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHTH SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On July 9, 1973, the above meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 7.00 P.M. Roll was called with the following result Present--
Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Edward G. Milligan,
Robert E. McCann and Robert D. Bennett. Absent-- None.
Elected and appointed officials present Edward H. McNamara, Mayor;
Harry C. Tatigian, City Attoney; Virginia G. Handzlik, Deputy City Clerk, Jack Dodge,
Budget Director.
Further discussion having taken place concerning proposed charter
amendment to establish a Department of Finance, the President set the date of
July 24, 1973 at 7 00 P.M. , at which time a representative of the Mayor, the City
Clerk, and the Council, would meet for further study of the subject charter
amendment.
By Councilman Milligan, seconded by Councilman Bennett, and unanimously
adopted, this 148th adjourned special meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia
was duly adjourned at 7.50 P.M. this July 9, 1973.
