MINUTES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHTH SPECIAL MEETING
CF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter IV of the City Charter,
the above meeting was held July 2, 1973, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road,
Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at
approximately 7:40 P.M. . Roll was called with the following result. Present--
Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown, Jerry Raymond, Edward G. Milligan, Robert E. McCann
and Robert D. Bennett. Absent--Peter A. Ventura
Elected and appointed officials present Edward H. McNamara, Mayor;
Harry C. Tatigian, City Attorney; Addison W. Bacon, City Clerk; Jack Dodge, Budget
Director.
Discussion having taken place concerning proposed charter amendment to
establish a Department of Finance, Councilman r.illlgan,' seconded by Councilman
McCann, and unanimously adopted, moved to adjourn this 148th Special Meeting to
Monday, July 9, 1973, at 7 00 P.M. , the time of this adjournment being 8 00 P.M.
July 2, 1973.
