MINUTES OF THE ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FOURTH SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter IV of the City Charter,
the above meeting was held October 15, 1969, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road,
Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approx-
imately 10.30 P. M. Roll was called with the following result: Present--Edward H.
McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann,
Robert F. Nash and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--none.
Elected and appointed officials present: Addison W. Bacon, City Clerk,
Robert M. Feinberg, Assistant City Attorney, Robert A. Shaw, Director of Public Works,
Victor C. Phillips, Budget Director, and Thomas J. Griffiths, Jr., Chief Accountant.
By Councilman Ventura, seconded by Councilman Nash, and unanimously adopt-
ed, it was
#1150-69 RESOLVED, that the Council does hereby determine to appoint an
"Insurance Agent of Record" for the purpose of representing the City and
seeking formal bids for the insurance needs of the City, such agent to
serve for a period of not more than one year, and further, that said Agent
of Record will be appointed not later than at the Regular Meeting of the
Council, Monday, October 27, 1969, and further, such Qualified Agents shall
submit proposals not later than October 20, 1969 at 5 :00 P. M. to the City
Clerk.
By Councilman Nash, seconded by Councilman Milligan, and unanimously
adopted, this 124th special meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia was duly
adjourned at 10:40 P. M. , October 15, 1969.
