HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-12-15 PETITION 1969-09-02-18 11046 MINUTFS OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 69-9-2-18 (Waiver Use) SECTION 1, CITY OF LIVONIA On December 15, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:16 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent: Rudolf R. Kleinert and Robert F. Nash. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" petition submitted by Charest & Clancy, attorneys for Curran Construction Company, Inc., requesting permission to construct a McDonald's Restaurant as a waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located on the east side of Middlebelt Road between Bretton and St. Martins in Section 1, City of Livonia. Mr. Frank Clancy represented the petitioner. Questions and comments from those interested were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
