HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-03-19 PETITION 1968-07-01-29 10314 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On March 19, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:03 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, *Peter A. Ventura, *Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and%Tdward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert. Councilman McNamara stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to requests for changes in the Zoning Ordinance. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear- ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled. Petition No. 68-7-1-29 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning in Section 13 and Section 24 from RUF to C-1, P, and PS. *Councilman Ventura arrived at 7:10 P. M. and Councilman Raymond and Councilman Milligan arrived at 7:25 P. M. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. Petition No. 68-11-1-41 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning in Section 36 from R-1 to C-2. The audience made no comments regarding the above petition. Petition No. 68-10-6-10 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend Section 18.50, 18.50A, 18.50C, 18.50D, 18.50E, and 18.50F of Ordinance No. 543. Questions and comments from an interested person were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
