HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-09-16 PETITION 1968-02-06-03 9876 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION 68-2-6-3 On September 16, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 8:02 P. M. Present--Robert E. McCann, Peter A. Ventura, *Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert and Edward H. McNamara. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear- ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act (M.B.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the L. Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold- ing a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 68-2-6-3 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Sections 4.10 and 18.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance. *Councilman. Raymond arrived at 8:10 P. M. Robert Menzies of the Planning Department explained the petition. There were no comments from the audience regarding the above petition. The public hearing was declared closed at 8:21 P.
