HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-08-12 NECESSITY GOLDEN RIDGE 9791 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING PAVEMENT ON ALL OF THE STREETS IN GOLDEN RIDGE SUBDIVISION AND GOLDEN RIDGE SUBDIVISION #1 On August 12, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:05 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, *Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and Robert F. Nash. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert and Edward G. Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing pavement on all of the streets in the Golden Ridge Subdivision and the Golden Ridge Subdivision #1, namely Hix, Houghton, Butwell, Lamont, Minton, and LNorthfield in the City of Livonia. There were approximately seventy people in the audience. *Councilman Ventura entered the meeting at 8:20 P. M. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
