HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-06-17 PETITION 1968-03-02-03 9665 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 68-3-2-3 (Waiver Use) SECTION 5, CITY OF LIVONIA On June 17, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:17 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, *Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing on a 'Waiver of Use" petition submitted by the Pure Oil Division of the Union Oil Company of California, 16000 West Nine Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan, 48075, requesting permission to construct a gasoline service station as a waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located on the northeast corner of Seven Mile Road and Newburgh Road in Section 5. There were twelve people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The public hearing was declared closed at 8 45 P. M., June 17, 1968. ADDISON W. BACON, City Clerk
