HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-03-20 NECESSITY WESTLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK 9358 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING PAVING AND DRAINAGE IN WESTLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION NO. 1 IN SEC. 27 On March 20, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at approximately 7:32 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Jack Salvadore. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, and Edward G. Milligan. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the _purpose of determining Lthe Necessity of installing paving and storm drainage improvements in Westland Industrial Park Subdivision No. 1 located in the S. W 1/4 of Section 27 in the City of Livonia. There were seven people in the audience. Comments from Mr. Seymour Weissman, owner of the Westland Industrial Park Subdivision were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
