HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOUNCIL MINUTES 1967-04-12 SPECIAL 8635 MINUTES OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter IV of the City Charter, the above meeting was held on April 12, 1967, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:55 P. M.. Roll was called with the following result: Present-- Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Robert F , Nash and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Jack Salvadore. Elected and appointed officials present: Virginia G. Handzlik, Deputy City Clerk; Harry C. Tatigian, Chief Assistant City Attorney; Victor C. Phillips, Chief Accountant, Stratton Brown of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, and Mr. Page of Allied Supermarkets, Inc. Councilman Milligan introduced the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12 OF ORDINANCE NO. 216, AS AMENDED, OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA, KNOWN AS THE FINANCIAL ORDINANCE. The foregoing Ordinance, when adopted, is filed in the Journal of Ordinances in t-- office of the City Clerk and is the same as if word for word repeated herein. The above Ordinance was placed on the table for consideration at the next regular meeting of the Council. The following resolution was unanimously introduced, supported and adopted. #377-67 RESOLVED, that having considered a communication dated April 12, 1967 from Marjorie Roesch with regard to the use of a calliope by the Riley Junior High Mexico Trip Club to advertise their Fun Fair to be held April 15, 1967 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. in the area bounded by Farmington, Six Mile Road, Inkster, and Schoolcraft Road, the Council does hereby grant permission to the Riley Junior High Mexico Trip Club to use the said Calliope in connection with its Fun Fair to be held April 15, 1967 at the time and area specified above. 8636 On motion of Councilman Nash, seconded by Councilman Raymond, and unanimously adopted, this 109th special meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia was duly adjourned at 9:25 P.
