MINUTES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On October 15, 1966, the above meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 10:05 A. M. Roll was called with the following result: Present--Peter A.
Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Jack Salvadore and
Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Robert F. Nash.
Elected and appointed officials present: Addison W. Bacon, City Clerk;
Steve Polgar, City Attorney, Harry C. Tatigian, Assistant City Attorney, and Victor C.
Phillips, Budget Director.
By Councilman Kleinert, seconded by Councilman Milligan, and unanimously
adopted, it was
#1053-66 RESOLVED that, the Council does hereby acknowledge receipt of the
annual budget of the City of Livonia for the fiscal year commencing
December 1, 1966 as prepared by the Mayor and filed by the Mayor with the
Council on September 15, 1966, and does hereby set a public hearing thereon
to be held on Wednesday, October 26, 1966 at 9:00 P. M. at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, in accordance with the provisions
of Chapter VII of the City Charter, and the City Clerk shall give notice of
such public hearing in accordance and pursuant to provisions of the City
Char ter.
By Councilman McNamara, seconded by Councilman Milligan, it was
#1054-66 RESOLVED that, having considered a letter from the Chairman of the
Human Relations Commission received by the City Clerk on September 30, 1966,
and approved for submission by the Mayor, referring to the interim budget
of the Human Relations Commission which shall expire November 30, 1966, the
Council does hereby authorize the transfer of $543.80 from the Anticipated
Surplus Account to Account No. 172 for this purpose, the same to be itemized
as follows:

A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result:
AYES: Kleinert, McNamara, Raymond, Salvadore, Milligan, and Ventura.
NAYS: None.
On motion of Councilman Raymond, seconded by Councilman McNamara, and
unanimously adopted, this 103rd Special meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia
was duly adjourned at 10:10 A. M., October 15, 1966.
