HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-07-12 NECESSITY NEWBURGH ROAD Page 7324 L MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARIM ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO PAVING ON NEWBURGH ROAD FROM SCHOOLCRA,FT ROAD TO PLYMOUTH ROAD. On July 12, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:15 p. m. Present-- Rudolf R. Kleinert, Charles J. Pinto, John F. Dooley and Edward H. Mc Namara. Absent-- Peter A. Ventura and James R. McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No.401, Las amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing paving on Newburgh Road from Schoolcraft Road to Plymouth Road in Sections 29 and 30 in the City of Livonia. Questions, comments and communications by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council.
