HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-11-08 PETITION 1965-08-01-18 Page 7545 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On November 8, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:10 p.m. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert, James R. McCann, Peter A. Ventura, Charles J. Pinto and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--John F. Dooley and Edward H. McNamara. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes, and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act. (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City. Petition No. 65-8-1-18, for change of zoning in Section 18 from R-3-B to R-2-A. There were no objectors at the public hearing relative to this petition. Petition No. 65-8-1-16, for change of zoning in Section 28 from RUFB and C-2 to M-1, submitted by Consumers Power Company. There were no objectors at the public hearing relative to this petition. Petition No. 65-8-1-15, for change of zoning in Section 22 from R-1-B and RUF to PS. There were no objectors at the public hearing relative to this petition. Petition No. 65-8-1-12, for change of zoning in Section 31 from RUFB to C-1, submitted by Wayne H. Jones, 14806 Berwick, Livonia, Michigan. There were no objectors at the public hearing relative to this petition. There being no further comments, the public hearings were declared closed at approximately 8:33 p.m. on November 8, 1965. l r Addison W. Bacon, City '_
