HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-12-20 PETITION 195-08-01-30 Page 7627 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On December 20, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:07 P. M. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Charles J. Pinto, Edward G. Milligan, John F. Dooley, Edward H. McNamara and James R. McCann. Absent--None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City LZoning Act. (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City. Petition No. 65-8-1-30, for change of zoning in Section 33 from C-1 to C-2, submitted by J. Leonard Hyman, for Jack Surnow, 1331 First National Building, Detroit, Michigan 48226. Questions and Comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council. Petition No. 65-9-1-33, for change of zoning in Section 111 from PS and RUFA to C-1, submitted by Rodney C. Kropf, for Sam and Joy S. Moy, 16911 Middlebelt, Livonia, Michigan. There were no objectors at the Public Hearing relative to this petition.
