HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOUNCIL MINUTES 1961-03-20 SPECIAL Page 47)42 MINUTES OF THE SIXTIETH SPECIAL DLETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter IV of the City Charter, the above meeting was held on March 20, 1961, at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 9:35 P. M. Roll was called with the following result: Present-- Sydney B. Bagnall„ Jack Salvador; William N. Ponder, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Austin T. Grant, John T. Daugherty and James R. McCann. Absent-- None, By Councilman Saavadore, seconded by Councilman Grant, it was #161-61 RESOLVED that, Navin, considered the letter dated March 8, 1961, from the Director of Fuolic Safety, the City Council, after due considera- tion, does hereby approve of the plan for the proposed Police Building and Civil Defense offices as shown on a plan identified as Preliminary D, prepared by Joseph Cyr, Architect and Associates, and in this connection also authorizes the aforesaid architect to proceed with the preparations of working plans and specifications for the construction of said building. A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result: AYES: Salvador; Ponder, Kleinert, Grant, Daugherl,y, McCann and Bagnall. NAYS: None. On motion of Counci]man Kleinert, seconded by Councilman McCann and unanimously adopted, this 60th special meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia was duly adjourned at, 9:37 P.
