HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1960-11-21 NECESSITY LIVONIA MEADOWS Page !4587 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREFJ LIGHTS IN A PORTION OF LIVONIA MEADOWS SUBDIVISION On November 21, 1960, the above hearing was held at theCity Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, LivonLa, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:36 P. M. Present-- Robert Sasser, John T. Daugherty, Sydney B. Bagnall, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Austin T. Grant, Jack Salvadore and James R. McCann. Absent-- None. The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing electric street lighting in that area of Livonia Meadows Subdivision located in the East 1/2 of the South- east 1/4 of Section 12 in the City of Livonia. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due c onsideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:59 P. M., November 21, 1960. Ma Clark, City Clerk
