HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1960-05-18 NECESSITY BUCKINGHAM VILLAGE Page 4366 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN BUCKINGHAM VILLAGE SUBDIVISIONS NO. 1 AND NO. 2 CITY OF LIVONIA On May 18, 1960, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mlle Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 7:34 P. M. Present-- Robert Sasser, John T. Daugherty, Rudolf R. Kleinert ani Austin T. Grant. Absent-- Sydney B. Bagnall, Jack Salvadore and James R. McCann, The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing electric street lighting in Buckingham Village Subdivisions No. 1 and No. 2 in Section 24 of the City of Livonia. Questions and c omrrent s by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further convents, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:20 P. M., May 18, 1960. Xax1e W. Clark, City Clerk
