MINUTES OF THE TWO HUNDRED EIGHTEENTH REGULAR MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On September 3, 1957, the above meeting was held at 33001 Five Mile Road,
Livonia, Michigan, aid was called to order at approximately 8:25 P. M., by the
President of the Council. Councilman Kleinert delivered the invocation. Roll
was called with the following result: Present-- Austin T. Grant, Frank O'Neill,
Rudolf R. Kleinert, David L. Jones, Peter A. Ventura and John T. Daugherty.
Absent-- Sydney B. Bagnall .
By Councilman Ventura, seconded by Councilman O'Neill, it was
#673-57 RESOLVED that, the minutes of the 217th regular meeting of the
Council of the City of Livonia held August 26, 1957, are hereby approved
as submitted.
A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result:
AYES: Kleinert, Daugherty, Ventura, O'Neill and Grant.
NAYS: Jones.
The rresident declared the resolution adopted.
By Councilman Daugherty, seconded by Councilman Ventura, it was
#674-57 RESOLVED that, having considered the request of the Board of
Wayne County Road Commissioners dated August 26, 1957, as submitted by
Joseph W. Goss, County Highway Engineer, and having reviewed such plans
submitted by said Board, the Council of the City of Livonia does hereby
approve the engineering plans for the paving of Joy Road from Middle Belt
Road to Farmington Road, and Farmington Road from Joy Road to Plymouth
Road; and that the Mayor and City Clerk affix their signatures to such
plans as evidence of this approval.
A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result:
AYES: Kleinert, Daugherty, Ventura, O'Neill, Jones and Grant.
NAYS: None.
On motion of Councilman Kleinert, seconded by Councilman Jones and
uhanimously adopted, this 218th regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Livonia was duly adjourned at approximately 8;33 P.M., September 3, 1957.
