Home My WebLink AboutCOUNCIL MINUTES 1953-09-18 ADJOURNED Page 1178 MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED ONE HUNDRED SECOND REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA On September 18, 1953, above meeting was held at 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order at approximately 8:30 P M , by the President of the Council, Harry S Wolfe Roll was called with the following result. Present-- Harry S Wolfe, Wilson W Edgar, Harold Bower, John W. Odien, Inc , in the amount of $6,947 00 for construction of Sewage Meter Unit at the Ford Motor Company Tank Plant, such bid being the lowest bid received is hereby accepted• that the Layor and City Clerk be authorized to affix their signatures to a contract on behalf of the City of Livonia in con- formance with such bid, and that the cost of such Sewage Meter Unit be paid from the proceeds of bonds sold in City of Livonia Sewage Disposal System No II A roll call vote was conducted on the foregoing resolution with the following result AYES: Edgar, Bower, Whitehead, Taylor and Wolfe NAYS None By Councilman Edgar, seconded by Councilman Whitehead and adopted as follows, it was # 673 RESOLVED, that, pursuant to the recommendation of Department of Public Works dated September 18, 1953, all sealed bids received on the paving and draining of Amrhein Road be and hereby are rejected, and the Department of public Works and the City Clerk are requested to advertise for new bids in conformance with the provisions of the Financial Ordinance.
