HomeMy WebLinkAboutTraffic Commission 2010-04-08MINUTES OF THE 655th REGULAR MEETING LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION The 655th Regular meeting of the Livonia Traffic Commission was held in the third floor conference room at City Hall on Thursday, April 8, 2o1o, and was called to order by Chairman Joe Sfeek_ PRESENT_ Commissioners Gordon Draper, Jim Policelli, Kevin Pri klyalong with Police Sergeant John Gibbs were present The minutes of the March 11, 201o, meeting were reviewed_ Upon a motion by Mr. Draper, seconded by Mr Policelli, it was approved that 1047 RESOLVED, that the commission minutes for March 11, 2oio be approved as presented The commission reviewetl deer crossing signs for the vicinity of Rotary Park and upon a motion by Mr Priddy seconded by Mr Draper, it was approved that 10 -OB RESOLVED, the commission takes an further action to post signs in this area The commission reviewed speed limit signs at Rosedale School, Ann Arbor Trail and upon a motion by Mr Policelli and by Mr Priddy, it was approved that 10-09 RESOLVED, the commission approves the following sign charges_ - Installs 2(end school zone)on westbound Ann Arbor Trail immediately prior to Angeline Circle B Remove 35 mph sign that is within school zone B Replace 35 mph sign on eastbound Ann Arbor Trail with S 2 (end school zone) B befall 35 mph on westbound at 36469 Ann Arbor Trail The commission nonewed speed limit signs at Holmes Middle School on Newburgh Read and upon a motion by Mr Draper and seconded by Mr Priddy, it was approved that 10-10 RESOLVED, the commission approves the following sign charges_ - On northbound Newburgh remove 45 mph sign immediately south of Bristol Street - On northbound Newburgh install S 2 sign (end school zone) north of Munger Street - On southbound Newburgh replace 45 mph sign with S&2 sign south of Myrna Street - On southbound Newburgh add 45 mph sign north of Ladywood Street Upon a motion by Mr. Draper, seconded by Mr. Priddy and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that the meeting be adjourned! at 8 55 pm.
