The following items me on the Agenda of the Traffic Commission meeting to be held on
Thursday, Fehmary 14, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. in the third floor conference room of City
Hall.
AGENDA
1. Welcome to newly appointed Commissioner Jim Policelli.
2. Receive and file letter of termination for Commissioner Thomas Kerr, effective
January 17, 2008.
3. Approval of Minutes from the December 13, 2007 meeting. (January meeting was
cancelled)
4. Letter from Michael T. Slater, Director of Finance regarding the renewal of
Agreement with Traffic Improvement Association (TIA).
5. Reviewof Engineering report and traffic shdyof Wayne Rd. at Seven Mile.
6. Review of Police Department's update on Am Arbor Road and Newburgh.
7. Review of Police Department's recommendations for Section 14.
8. Approval of Traffic Control Orders 08-01 through 08-06 (removal of CROSS
TRAFFIC DOES NOT STOP (W4-4P) from Sections 8, 9, 10, 20, 21 and 3 (past the
90 day requirement).
9. Review of Traffic light timing on Schoolnuft and Stade Rd.
10. Remove signal warning sign (W3-3) for northbound Hix 500 feet south of Am
Arbor Road (does not fit warrants)
11. Remove school crosswalk signs (old S1-2) on His, north and south of Northfield (no
longer a school in the area, and signs are obsolete)
12. Remove advance school warning sign (S1-1) at northbound His: 600 feet south of
Northfield.
13. Remove advance school warning sign (s1-1) on northbound His at 9226 Hix.
14. Add supplimennO AHEAD (W 16-9p) to existing S 1-1 signs at:
a) Northbound Newburgh north of Lyndon
b) Northbound Ne Oburgb at Myrna
co Southbound Newburgh at Southampton
