SYNOPSIS OF THE MINUTES OF THE 247 SPECIAL MEETING
LIVONIA CITY COUNCIL – APRIL 25, 2010

Meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. Present: John Pastor, Brian
Meakin, Joe Laura, Laura Toy, Maureen Brosnan and James McCann. Absent:
Terry Godfroid-Marecki.
AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION: None.
The following items were received and filed:
A communication from Councilmember John Pastor, dated April 21, 2010, re:
withdrawing his application for the vacant City Clerk position.
A communication from Adriane Spencer, Livonia resident and employee in the
City Clerk’s Office, dated April 17, 2010, re: the City Clerk vacancy.
A communication from Margaret Weiss, Livonia resident and employee in the
City Clerk’s Office, dated April 19, 2010, re: the City Clerk vacancy.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
#122-10 Resolution by Toy and Meakin, appointing Terry A. Godfroid-
MAD
Marecki to the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Livonia, to fill the unexpired
FAT
CivSvc
term of Linda Grimsby, which term expires December 31, 2011, such
appointment to be effective immediately upon taking the Oath of Office as
required in Chapter X, Section 2 of the City Charter, to be administered by the
Assistant City Clerk.
A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result:
AYES: Meakin, Laura, Toy and McCann.
NAYS: Pastor and Brosnan.
AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION: None.

of the Council of the City of Livonia at 1:08 p.m. on April 25, 2010.
