Sustainable communities consider how citizens interact with the environment. Their goal is to lower the community's impact on the environment while improving the quality of fife. The Greenleaf Commission on Sustainability was created in September 2013. It is a citizen advisory organization that is currently developing a Sustainability Plan for the City of Livonia. This plan includes initiatives for implementing and encouraging more sustainable practices for the city,its residents and its businesses. Digital Switchover of PEG channels on Brighthouse Networks Tips for Livonia Television Viewers Brighthouse Networks now requires customers to have either a digital cable box or a television with an internal digital tuner to receive the Public,Educational and Government(PEG)channels. The PEG channels are 8, 10, 12, 13 and 15. TVs that have a"digital tuner" can tune in digital cable channels without a cable box. However,the channel numbering is slightly different. As an example,Livonia Television will appear as Channel 8.1 for those without a cable box,rather than Channel 8 for those with a cable box. How do I get my digital PEG channels to appear? TVs with digital tuners must be set to re-scan or re-memorize all the channels available on the system in order to add the PEG channels to the TV's channel memory. Typically,the user needs to go into the setup menu of the TV,find the channel-setting area and tell the TV to re-scan ALL channels. What if I don't have a digital tuner on my TV? If you do not have a digital tuner on your TV,you will need to connect to a cable box. For those customers currently without a box, Brighthouse Networks will provide free cable boxes until October 2015.There is a limit of one free box per household.This offer mplies to those customers with analog service only.
