The 98th Special Meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on Monday,
December 22, 2008. The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
Members Present via Conference Call: Ronald E. Campau, Chairperson
Charlotte S. Mahoney, Commissioner
Harry C. Tatigian, Commissioner
Also Present: Robert F. Biga, Human Resources Director
Robert Domenzain, Firefighter, L.F.F.U.
John Dauffenbach, Building Inspector
Mark LaBarge, Police Captain
Keith Bo, Fire Engineer, L.F.F.U.
Stephanie Reece, Clerk Typist I
Upon a motion by Ms. Mahoney, seconded by Mr. Tatigian and adopted, it was
08-233 RESOLVED, That having reviewed the request for approval of a
premium only plan for the City to allow employee contributions for medical
benefits in pretax earnings on a voluntary basis, the Civil Service Commission
does hereby approve the request, with contributions to begin January 1, 2009,
through March 31, 2009, and renewed hereafter annually for a program year
from April 1st through March 31 st.
RESOLVED, That the special meeting be adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
