AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION NEW BUSINESS 1. REQUEST TO APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND SALARY MODIFICATION FOR DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: Office of the Mayor, re: same. 2. REQUEST TO APPROVE MODIFICATION TO THE COMPENSATION PLAN: Civil Service Department, re: to allow for overtime for Police Captains to be in straight time compensatory time, limited to 100 hours, or to be paid at the straight time rate. 3. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE SIX (6) MARKED PATROL VEHICLES, ONE (1) REPLACEMENT VEHICLE AND FIVE (5) UNMARKED VEHICLES UTILIZING THE STATE OF MICHIGAN AND THE COUNTIES OF OAKLAND AND MACOMB CONSORTIUM BID PRICING: Division of Police, re. to be used by the Uniform Division, the Investigative Division/Administration and the Intelligence Bureau from budgeted funds. 4. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY PURCHASED THROUGH TAX FORECLOSURE WITH THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS: Livonia Housing Commission, re: the single family home located at 12411 Arcola for a total sale price of$74,094.00. 5. REQUEST TO APPROVE EXPANSION OF OUR MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE LICENSING AGREEMENT: Department of Management Information Systems, re: to include Core Cal (Client Access License) and Microsoft Office 365 US Government E3 plan. (CR 21-14) 6. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: for Owner's Representative/Project Management for the Clements Circle Pool Reconstruction Project. REQUEST TO REFER NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS FINANCIAL TRAINING TO THE FINANCE, BUDGET AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE: Department of Finance, re: informational training session offered by Plante & Moran related to municipal governmental finances. 9. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for Aggregates (road gravel, slag and stone) for the City's 2016 calendar year requirements, from budgeted funds. 10. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for Street Sweeping Services for the 2016-2019 Leaf Pickup Program from budgeted funds. 11. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for the 2016-2019 Supplemental Routine Street Sweeping Program from budgeted funds. 12. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE: Public Service Division, re: of one (1) Toro Groundsmaster 3505-D, Model Number 30849, utilizing the State of Michigan bid process. 13. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Public Service Division, re: for a three-year contract to purchase water meters and supplies, from budgeted funds. 14. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE: Public Service Division, re: for one (1) 2015 Case 621 FXR Loader utilizing the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Contract, to replace a current vehicle, from budgeted funds. 15. REQUEST FOR COUNCIL TO SET A DATE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADOPTING A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON REFERENCED PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES CONNECTEDWITH THE 2015 SIDEWALK PROGRAM, CONTRACT 15-G, SINGLE LOT ASSESSMENTS: Engineering Division, re: same. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH CGI COMMUNICATIONS, INC.: Planning Commission, re: for the Community Showcase Video Program to produce a series of topical promotional videos highlighting amenities of Livonia, at no cost to the city. 17. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2012-04-02-10, submitted by Pelagos Enterprises Inc., to extend the use of a Class C liquor license to the new owners and extend the operating hours from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in connection with a full service restaurant located on the north side of Plymouth Road between Farmington and Stark Roads (34110 Plymouth Road), in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 28.
