MINUTES OF THE 726 REGULAR MEETING
LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION

The 726 Regular meeting of the Livonia Traffic Commission was held in the third-floor
conference room at City Hall on Thursday, October 13, 2016; it was called to order by Chairman
Jim Policelli.
PRESENT: Commissioners: Gordon Draper, Rebekah Farabaugh, City of Livonia Police
Sergeant Brian Leigh and City of Livonia Engineer Todd Zilincik.
Agenda Item 1: The minutes of the September 8, 2016, meeting were reviewed.
Upon a motion by Gordon Draper, seconded by Rebekah Farabaugh, it was approved by majority
vote that:
16-229 RESOLVED, the commission minutes from September 8, 2016, are
approved as presented.
Agenda Item 2: Chairman Policelli informed the commission that he responded to two requests
from residents in section 9, both near Stevenson High School, for a parking permit to allow
parking in front and near their homes during the “No Parking” time period. Both residents were
informed that the city does not provide special parking permits or exempts residents from being
ticketed during no parking time zones.
Agenda Item 3: Todd presented and reviewed the proposed 2017 City of Livonia Road Repair
Program with the commission.
Agenda Item 4: No open discussion from commissioners.
RESOLVED, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
