HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA AGENDA 2017-09-26 AGENDA Zoning Board of Appeals CITY OF LIVONIA (734) 466-2259 September 26, 2017 – 7:00 p.m. Livonia City Hall - Auditorium (1st Floor) APPEAL CASE NO. 2017-07-39 (Tabled on August 15, 2017): Frederick Thurston, east side of Fairlane (14760) between Five Mile and Lyndon, seeking to remove the existing garage and replace it with a larger garage, while maintaining the attached garage, resulting in excess number of garages and garage area. The Petitioner also proposes a wall height of eleven (11) feet tall where only ten (10) feet is allowed. APPEAL CASE NO. 2017-08-47 (Tabled on August 29, 2017): William and Gail Zhmendak, east side of Fairway (17830) between Bennett and Brookview, seeking to maintain a double fence along the rear property line. The new chain link fence was erected without a permit, also, the adjoining property has not given written approval for the chain link fence. APPEAL CASE NO. 2017-08-49 (Tabled on August 29, 2017): Robert Jaber, Jr., east side of Floral (18704) between Seven Mile and Clarita, seeking to remove the existing detached garage and construct a new detached garage, resulting in excess garage area and height. APPEAL CASE NO. 2017-09-55: AEI Fund Managements, Inc., 1300 Wells Fargo th Place, 30 East 7 Street, St. Paul, MN 55101, seeking to erect wall signs on four (4) elevations of a new restaurant building on property located on the east side of Haggerty (19470) between Seven Mile and Eight Mile, resulting in excess number of wall signs and wall sign area. In accordance with Title II of the American with Disabilities Act as it pertains to access to Public Meetings, the Zoning Board of Appeal’s Office of the City of Livonia upon adequate notice, will make reasonable accommodations for persons with special needs.
