HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA AGENDA 2018-08-28 AGENDA Zoning Board of Appeals CITY OF LIVONIA (734) 466-2259 August 28, 2018 – 7:00 p.m. Livonia City Hall – Auditorium (1st Floor) APPEAL CASE NO. 2018-08-34: Stephen Schifano, south side of Grove (34639) between Fairlane and Riverside, seeking to maintain a privacy fence, erected without a permit, which creates a double fence (chain link fence adjacent) and not obtaining the neighbors permission. APPEAL CASE NO. 2018-08-35: Speedway, LLC, 500 Speedway Drive, Enon, OH 45323, seeking to erect wall signs and a ground sign on a new building (old store being removed) upon property located on the north side of Seven Mile (37416) between Newburgh and Victor Parkway, resulting in excess wall sign area. Note: The ground sign has an electronic price sign, which is not permitted where there is excess signage on this site. APPEAL CASE NO. 2018-08-37: Cathryn McGlynn, east side of Melrose (11328) between Elmira and Plymouth, seeking to construct an attached garage addition to a nonconforming dwelling, resulting in deficient combined side yard setback. The existing detached garage shall be removed. The existing nonconformity of the existing dwelling is the north side yard setback of three feet where nine feet is required, based on this proposal. In accordance with Title II of the American with Disabilities Act as it pertains to access to Public Meetings, the Zoning Board of Appeal’s Office of the City of Livonia upon adequate notice, will make reasonable accommodations for persons with special needs.
