Communication from the Department of Finance dated September 20, 2018, re: forwarding various financial statements of the City of Livonia for the month ending August 31, 2018. b. Communication from the Department of Finance dated September 25, 2018, re: forwarding the Quarterly Investment Report for the City of Livonia as of August 31, 2018. CONSENT AGENDA 1. REQUEST TO DESIGNATE CONSULTANT THROUGH THE QUALIFICATION BASED SELECTION (QBS) PROCESS: Engineering Division, re: to provide planning services for the 2019 Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education Campaign not to exceed $23,000.00 which $18,825.50 will be reimbursed from the Federal Grant fund and $4,174.50 match from the City of Livonia. (CR 365-16) UNFINISHED BUSINESS MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE 2. FINANCE AND BUDGET COMMITTEE – Meeting of Monday, September 24, 2018 Proposed budget for the City of Livonia for the fiscal year ending November 30, 2019, and the property tax millage proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget. (CR 312-18) Public Hearing held on October 3, 2018. Agenda for the Regular Meeting of October 15, 2018 2 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 3. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2018-06-06-03 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Section 23.01(b) of Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, proposing to amend Section 10.03 of Article X, Waiver Uses, C-1 District Regulations in order to allow for establishments having liquor licenses such as Class C, Tavern, Micro Brewers and Brewpubs, to operate in conjunction with restaurants and other dining facilities. (CR 311-18) 4. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2017-08-02-09 submitted by S.Y.B. Enterprises, Inc., in connection with a proposal to construct a gas station on the northwest corners of Seven Mile and Inkster Roads (27430 Seven Mile Road) in the Southeast ¼ of Section 1. (CR 343-17) NEW BUSINESS 5. REQUEST APPROVAL OF BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING NOVEMBER 30, 2018: Department of Finance, re: for additional contribution to the VEBA Fund, and the creation of the Building Improvement Capital Projects Fund (418). 6. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND AUTHORIZE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for the 2018 Asphalt Road Paving Program for the DPW Parking Lot Reconstruction Project for a revised contract total of $2,742,080 for Nagle Paving Company and an additional amount of $147,650 to Sole’ Construction, Inc. for parking lot improvements at 13405 Surrey at the Fleet Maintenance Building and the main portion of the south employee parking area.
