REAPPOINTMENT OF KEN HARB TO THE LIVONIA BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: Office of the Mayor, re: for a three-year term which will expire on November 24, 2021. 2. REAPPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM FRIED TO THE LIVONIA BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: Office of the Mayor, re: for a three-year term which will expire on November 24, 2021. 3. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: to purchase four (4) Heavy Duty Sure-Trac trailers, for use in municipal grounds maintenance, from budgeted funds. CAPITAL OUTLAY AND INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE – Meeting of Wednesday, October 3, 2018 Subject of the conceptual planning and design of the proposed DPW Water & Sewer Building. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, re: Petition 2018-06-06-03 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Section 23.01(b) of Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, proposing to amend Section 10.03 of Article X, Waiver Uses, C-1 District Regulations in order to allow for establishments having liquor licenses such as Class C, Tavern, Micro Brewers and Brewpubs, to operate in conjunction with restaurants and other dining facilities. (CR 311-18) (First read given by Council Vice President Jim Jolly on October 15, 2018) 6. REQUEST TO MODIFY THE CITY OF LIVONIA COMPENSATION PLAN TO INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO COMPENSATE ADMINISTRATION AND PROFESSIONAL, EXEMPT AND CONFIDENTIAL AND APPOINTEE EMPLOYEES ASSIGNED TO STANDBY ON-CALL DUTY: Civil Service Department, re: in the amount of $450.00 for one-week of twenty-four hour/seven day on-call duty as assigned by the Department of Management Information Systems. 7. REQUEST TO REFER THE SUBJECT MATTER OF FUNDING AND NEEDS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE: Council Vice President Jim Jolly, re: for an understanding and review of the Department. 8. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-07-02-17 submitted by TeleSite Wireless, on behalf of Verizon Wireless, to erect a wireless communication support structure (120-foot-high monopole) and construct a supporting equipment shelter on property located in the southeast corner of the American Legion property, located on the east side of Newburgh Road between Joy Road and Ann Arbor Trail (9318 Newburgh Road) in the Southwest ¼ of Section 32. 9. MASTER PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-09-07-01, to forward the proposed Comprehensive Master Plan (Livonia Vision 21) to the Livonia City Council for review and comment, and thereafter authorize distribution of the Plan for public comment pursuant to MCL 125.3841 of P.A. 33 of 2008, as amended, more commonly known as the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. NEW BUSINESS 10. RESIGNATION OF DALE CAMPBELL FROM THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: Dale Campbell, re: to be effective October 10, 2018. 11. APPOINTMENT OF JOEL TURBIAK TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: Councilmember Scott Bahr, re: to fill the unexpired term of Dale Campbell, which expires July 12, 2020. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE; AND AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM LOCAL ROADS AND MAJOR ROADS: Engineering Division, re: to close out the 2018 Joint and Crack Sealing Program (Contract 18-D) and transferring funds to close out the 2018 Lane Line Marking Program (Contract 18-H), the 2018 Concrete Road Selective Slab Replacement Program (Contract 18-J), and the 2018 Concrete Road Select Slab Replacement Program (Contract 18-J). (CR 176-18) 13. APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE: Daniel E. Laible, Plymouth Properties, re: for the new construction of 60,000 sq. ft. addition to house assembly, sequencing, and warehouse space for the launch of interior product for the new Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator and adding additional machines for property located at 38900 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150.
