New Business -Cemetery walk, Clarenceville. KJB dropped by high school for history room and contact with nd drama/history teachers. Looking into folks name/history for the tour. Next meeting May 22 1pm. Contact the city about truck with winch or the like for moving larger stones. Should also consider removing trees, may be a necessity. Current Issues -Budget $4,500 for 2017, spent on the holiday party, state of the city and magazine subscriptions. We have about $4,200 -Past Perfect- we have been asked to purchase from our budget for Greenmead. Upgrade to 5 machines, one time only. $529 full license, 2-5 computers will be networked. Will our laptop be able to handle the PP software? Motion by Don Knapp to postpone the purchase until more information about the use. Seconded by Ralph Bakewell. Aye-2 Nay-3 Ab-1 Motion by Kathie Glynn to approve $529 for Past Perfect software for up to 5 computers, 2 of 5 for HPC (lap top or tablet). Seconded by Danielle Lewon. Aye- 5 Nay-0 Ab-1 -Garden Walk Ad: in program book $25 ¼ page, $35 1/3 page, $50 half, $100 full. Ad due by nd June 1 for June 22 garden walk. Put a coupon for $1 off cemetery walk, whole page. Motion by James Kline to purchase full page in Garden Walk booklet, $100 for promoting the cemetery walk. Seconded by Kathie Glynn. Aye-6 -Stark Road section 106 review letter, not looking for potential so will respond with no. -CLG -Resurvey district/city Current Issues Updates Greenmead- new door is needed in Hill, maintenance is asking for upgrade for fiberglass or metal. Asked for more information and give recommendation. Door replaced at farm hand's house. Geer Store sump pump hit by a mower, other plumbing fixes are being recommended for the village area. th Volunteer picnic May 16. New Volunteer Tour scheduled for May 25. School House- on Council agenda for next steps, foundations and other issues. Next Meeting ndth Voting Meeting August 2 2017, planning June 7 and no July meeting.
