Immonen to approve the minutes from February 2018 meeting, seconded K. Glynn, ayes- 6 nays -0 Correspondences- MHPN Conference May 17-19, Lansing New Issues- Cemetery repair- 6 Mile Briggs Cemetery, set meeting to pick headstones to fix. Pick 6- 8 stones. New Fundraiser Ideas: -Civil War Tea- Sept 22nd, speaker chosen (women serving as men), $25 tickets. We should help with advertising. Maybe help for the event. Have separate food meeting? -Road Rally -Calendar of Historic Properties, in progress -Greemead Tours with characters: next year? -Progressive dinner with city council this summer: pick a date, work on menu -Ad in Friends of Greenmead Brochure: yes, the Civil War Tea! Motion made by J. Kline to spend $100 for a full page ad in the Garden Walk booklet for our civil war tea, seconded by K. Glynn. Ayes- 6 nays-0 Current Issues- Budget 2017/18- $5,000 Certified Local Government- review of the document, we meet requirements, contact Linda McCann first and continue. First week of June? Kathy Johnson-Bartshe will come up with date. Re-survey districts- will work with CLG Updates- Greenmead- lean-to has been repaired, painting is continuing. East elevation of lean-to, regrading there. Volunteer kick off May 22nd. Painting of south elevation Blue house to start soon. Accessible ramp being worked on at Blue. Re-grading will happen at Meeting House. Interpretation signage- installed in the fall probably, after most of the events. May-June, lots of school groups, please be a tour guide. Found some footage of Livonia from 1957-1962ish, will be getting a DVD copy soon. Walk on Items- -Rob Werlinger- retired fireman, Looking for information, photos etc. on history of Livonia Fire Department. -Rosedale Gardens neighborhood: looking for help with design of new construction on old school site, supporting Rosedale homeowners association. There will be a planning meeting on May 22nd, and a ZBA meeting the next week. -Cemetery Preservation Workshop: focus on groups, genealogy groups, scouts, science/history classes. Where to advertise?
