APPEAL CASE NO. 2018-12-50 (Tabled on December 11, 2018): Community
Choice Credit Union, 31155 Northwestern Hwy., Ste. 285, Farmington Hills, MI
48334, seeking to erect a six-foot-tall iron picket fence (non-sight obscuring) on
property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Trail (34930) between West
Chicago and Joy Road, which is not allowed in this commercial zoning district. Six-
foot-tall non-sight obscuring fences cannot exceed four feet tall. Also, fences within ten
feet of the property line (right-of-way) must not be taller than three feet.
APPEAL CASE NO. 2019-01-03: Larry Conn, Jr., south side of Puritan (30551)
between Merriman and Henry Ruff, seeking to construct a detached garage, resulting
in excess garage area and height. The existing detached garage (17’x23’) and other shed
(15’x21’) shall be removed.
