HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA AGENDA 2019-01-22 AGENDA Zoning Board of Appeals CITY OF LIVONIA (734) 466-2259 January 22, 2019 – 7:00 p.m. Livonia City Hall – Auditorium (1st Floor) APPEAL CASE NO. 2018-12-50 (Tabled on December 11, 2018): Community Choice Credit Union, 31155 Northwestern Hwy., Ste. 285, Farmington Hills, MI 48334, seeking to erect a six-foot-tall iron picket fence (non-sight obscuring) on property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Trail (34930) between West Chicago and Joy Road, which is not allowed in this commercial zoning district. Six- foot-tall non-sight obscuring fences cannot exceed four feet tall. Also, fences within ten feet of the property line (right-of-way) must not be taller than three feet. APPEAL CASE NO. 2019-01-03: Larry Conn, Jr., south side of Puritan (30551) between Merriman and Henry Ruff, seeking to construct a detached garage, resulting in excess garage area and height. The existing detached garage (17’x23’) and other shed (15’x21’) shall be removed. In accordance with Title II of the American with Disabilities Act as it pertains to access to Public Meetings, the Zoning Board of Appeal’s Office of the City of Livonia upon adequate notice, will make reasonable accommodations for persons with special needs.
